In a tribe some miles away from the city of Kohona, a girl was born around this time 12 years ago. A girl that would be raised and trained to become one of their tribe’s most successful thieves. Her name was Kito.
In order to survive, the tribe did a lot of minor illegal activities like stealing jewelry, scrolls and/or gold from the people in the nearby city. They were not rich yet they were able to provide for plenty of food, clothes, fulfill all their basic needs and have their children be educated on a broad variety of things. The tribe had brought her happiness and joy, but most importantly the sense of acceptation in a life without parents. They had died since long ago. The only family she had was her older brother, yet he was rarely there.
It was when she was given the assignment to steal the scroll of A Thousand Whispers two weeks ago that her world was turned upside down, completely. For the first time in her six years of being a skilled thief, Kito had been unable to steal her objective and it would change her life forever. Shinobi guards of the city had caught her in the act as she was about to break into the sacred building. It had taken the shinobi guards only a short but awkward fight to put a small girl like herself down.
The next day Kito had found herself locked up in the city’s jail, behind bars. She was approached by the inquisitor but when they asked her politely what she had been up to that night, Kito had refused to talk. For a week she had refused to do so. And it was then they decided to let the girl’s mind be read. Unable to fight it back she had spoiled anything there was to know of her tribe. It was also then decided that Kito was to be put under surveillance by a guy named Azure. That, until she had proven herself worthy enough to live a free life in the city of Kohona.
Personality[]
Grown up to protect her own this girl was rather blunt in her way of speaking and her behavior often written off as rude and arrogant. However, once people got to know her on a deeper level, her defensive mask would come off and she turned out to be the most loyal friend possible. Only if she were easy in letting people in, she might have been a friend to many. But that, sadly enough, wasn't the case. Other than her cousin and brother, she had no friends - no one that she was able to trust like them.
