A round shield capable of withstanding large amounts of force, releasing excess force in straight lines following its edges. It's unique alloy contains chakra metal which allows it to face and disperse chakra in a similar manner to physical force. This will also prevent the shield from, for instance, overheating when blocking fire or paralyzing the user when blocking lightning.

It's smooth edges allows it to bounce off of walls without a loss of momentum, sometimes even gaining more speed along the way
The shield has a 3ft diameter which is just big enough for the 5ft tall Captain Konoha to ball himself up behind when facing a wide-spread attack such as a fireball.
